Born and raised in Piermont, NY, Jacob King is a visual storyteller with an eye for concise and quality content. A graduate from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University in 2025, Jacob immersed himself in many types of content creation. He’s worked as a Director of Photography on various projects, including “Luck of the Draw,” a music video by Sofia Violet that was showcased at the Orange Reels Film Festival in 2023, and “Mi Casita,” a 15-minute documentary that has recently been submitted to the College Television Awards by the Newhouse Program. He has gained experience in other aspects of the filming process, including editing, color correction, lighting, and drone work. He has also worked in a professional setting, having interned for “20/20,” ABC News’ award-winning true crime documentary show. There, he learned every aspect of a newsroom, including editing with AVID, booking, research, and production.
